2022 Term 4 .... December 16
From the Principal
Dear BANB6 Community
Another school year comes to a close and it is time to take a break over summer. Our 2022 school year has again been significantly disrupted at times by COVID with many members of the school community being impacted throughout the year.
In amongst all of the disruption, all restrictions were removed which meant we could resume ‘normal’ school life; something that had been missed during the previous two years.
It has been a year full of many highlights, events and lots of fun.
Graduation
On Tuesday evening we celebrated the graduation of our year six learners. Our graduates dressed up for the occasion, some made speeches and they were all presented with their graduation certificates.
After the ceremony, our graduates were able to share a meal together and have some fun celebrating with their friends. It was a wonderful night and I thank our Red LA’s for organising the event and making sure it was a great success.
Farewells
At this time of year, we sadly need to farewell some staff and say thanks to them for their contributions to our school. Our leaving staff have been acknowledged at events through the week and also at our final Team Time this morning. We thank them for all they have given BANB6 and wish them all the very best for the future.

Happy Holidays
On behalf of the BANB6 community, I take the opportunity to thank all of our children for their efforts and hard work throughout the year and wish all of our families a very happy holiday, Merry Christmas and a safe New Year. I look forward to beginning another exciting year of learning on January 30, 2023.
Finally, I take the opportunity to acknowledge the amazing group of staff that we have at BANB6. I thank them for their hard work and service to our learners and the school community. It has been a very busy year and at times challenging and disruptive. Throughout the whole year our staff have given everything to ensure our learners are at the very forefront of all we do, and I wish them all a very well deserved, safe and relaxing break.
Kind Regards
Darren
