Dear BANB6 Community

Traffic

In recent times we have seen an increase in congestion around the school, particularly in the afternoons at collection time. I ask all members of the BANB6 community to please read the following requests from school leadership carefully and to ensure that the requests are followed to make sure that the safety of our children and school community is at the forefront of our minds.

Drop and Collection of Children

We have designated, safe drop off and collection areas for our BANB6 children. These are adjacent to the school on both Marmion and Stanley Avenues. Please only use these areas when dropping off and collecting children.

Please do not use the Children’s Centre car park or roundabout area to drop off and collect children unless you park in a designated car parking space within the Children’s Centre car park.

Please do not use the Staff and Visitor car park to drop off or collect children.

Children’s Centre Car Park

When entering the Children’s Centre car park, please do not turn right from Marmion Ave during the times of 8.15am-9.15am and 2.30pm-3.30pm.

When exiting the Children’s Centre car park, please only turn left. Please do not go straight ahead or turn right out of the car park.

We have these instructions and guidelines in place to ensure the safety of every member of our school community is valued. School and Children’s Centre staff have serious concerns that if these requests continue to be ignored by some members of the school community, we risk having a serious accident or incident that should have been avoided.
